We stayed put and had a relaxing day, did our laundry or I should say we paid 40 pesos about 3.60 each to have it washed , ironed and folded. Lavanderic Day
While our stuff was in the wash, we walked about the Main St, the stores were busy, many clothing and shoe stores with fashionable clothing casual and formal. Though the town looks run down, it is a bee hive of activity, the people friendly, the language barrier frustrating because they really want to talk with you. We must be the only gringos in town ,as we seem to draw attention at every corner. We see poverty, and apparent prosperty all about us. Cars and trucks worth $ 60,000.00 plus at home…..people all seem happy with a festive feeling about town. Laundry Pkg
Pedro purchased our dinner raw in the store behind this sidewalk cooker….the price for the sirloin tip included it being cooked and it was delicious.
We are undecided as to Pacific or Gulf coast……..stay tooned
