Continued-from Lake George-June 10th/16

We left Lake George Friday morning heading towards Vermont via of hwy 4 which led us through Killington Vermont. Here Twisty turned us on a back country road #100 comes to mind.....sparse traffic , curves and hills made this an enjoyable ride through small farming communities which seemed lost in the 40's. Our ride was with dark overcast skies and sporadic rain which for the most part was either behind us or just ahead. We arrived arrived late afternoon in Littleton NH. Twisty had planned a day lay over so we could visit MT WAshington and ride through its valleys. Here, I was treated to my own bed and separate bedroom courtesy of my riding buddies....thanks fellows.
Next morning after a nice breakfast at a 50's style rail car diner, we headed off on paved tarmac, little traffic to experience motorcycle heaven which led us through Bartlett, Conway & Lincoln. Somewhere before Conway we lost Twisty who we learned later had his GEO Cache Radar detect a stash.......Don and I pulled over and eventually a beaming Twisty appeared happy to have scored a FIND. We pulled up to the entrance to the Top of Mt Washington but Don looking a bit pale after hearing that it was a DANGEROUS climb on a bike.....didn't want to conquer the hill.....so we opted out....or maybe we where to cheap to pay the admission.
It was early when we set out for French Canada, again on lightly travelled hwy #3. This had us crossing near Canaan NH....then on to Sorel Quebec to catch a Ferry across the St Lawrence. We scored our 1st up scaled hotel with Twisty trying to no avail to get further discounts for any variety of reasons...old age, poor disability benefits, bad company....they were having a good time laughing with him but did throw in Breakfast and a free locking chain for the bikes.
After breakfast in partially overcast skies we headed north for our mid day destination, My Tremblant. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/1217511941#.V2WFC-3_smw.email....Not sure why this is not in Blue....I copied and pasted the route sent to me by twisty....this is our route to Madawaski.....maybe you can type it in the https bar and get the map. @3 years ago I skied here but do not recognize it as this is now akin to Whistler with all the Hotels.Condos and new village....

On to Madawaski Quebec with Twisty finding the curvy back roads for a good part of the way...sorry no pics to busy trying to stay on the tarmac.....booked into the same hotel we stayed at last fall....again we had to chain the bikes this time with an alarm system...what is it with Quebec. Don had a disappointing dinner here...Twisty and I were finished eating while Don was still waiting.....he had to ask numerous times where is my meal....a complaint to the Manager later scored us six beers...thanks Don.
We did get a nice full breakfast next morning and our final leg of this trip. We headed through to Renfrew and on home via Bancroft and Haliburton arriving home about 3 pm....A great trip with little rain but cold......many times dipping to 9 c ....but with all the protective gear it was comfortable riding.
