Paracas to Lunahuana-Dec12 2017

Up early and on the road by 7 am........ran along the coast for about 1 hour through a number of small towns with hectic traffic in the larger ones. We decided to make some time so we entered the Pan American Hwy and opened the throttle 84 k......mine is a little faster at 90 plus but didn't want to lose Ken.
Saw acres of these seemingly abandoned houses along the Pan.....though the odd one appeared lived in.
Turning off the Pan, we still seemed to be in arid land but with the irrigation plenty of green vibrant crops including grapes. the watermelon where twice the size we see at home...

We arrive early at about noon....we are the only tenants again and the lady running the place makes us comfortable.....opening the kitchen to prepare us lunch after first serving us a nice coffee on our terrace........Ken wanders about the area and later we take a walk down to the canopy zip line across the gorge......returning to have dinner before retiring for the night. the Internet was so slow I gave up trying to blog.

 A winery down the street......
The zip line takes you across and down river and back......they also have ATV adventures and rappelling. Judging from the number of Hotels and hostels in this small town....it is busy at some point.
