Woke up to a slight drizzle, loaded the bikes and headed for the Ferry in North Sydney…about a 45 minute ride. The web site showed booked for the 11.45 am crossing but we thought they might be able to fit us on. We arrived at 7.30 am….the am crossing was cancelled due to bad weather…apparently these new boats built in Sweden are unstable in certain conditions……so we booked for the midnight crossing…thats almost a day from now…so the time was spent walking about and sitting in the terminal. two lonely bikes.

ReplyDeleteBob, That foot looks nasty ! Stop in somewhere and have someone have a look at it.
ReplyDeleteI've been on that Ferry waaay too many times. Hate it. Especially with the rig. YES, They sure do pack them in TIGHT.
I can never sleep on that crossing either so it's always a long night.
