January 4th 2020-Back on Track

I will be flying with 4 friends the 24th arriving on the morning of the 25th to Quito with an over night before beginning  the Sleipner Tour. The bikes have been requisitioned and each will have GPS systems to guide us to our destinations. Though we have GPS routes pre-programed this is a self guided unrestricted mileage package over  10 nights and 11 days. One of the participants in the tour is the North American Rep for Nite Ize products for the ADVENTURER....link here  https://www.niteize.com/field-team.asp

You will note red lines on the map.... At  Jipijapa after leaving Guayaquil this is where I plan to leave the group ( January 30th ) for Canoa.....spending 4 nights before heading out on the 4th to link up for our last evenning of the trip at LATACUNGA CANTON. iT IS EXPECTED that our arrival will be to late to visit the Quilota lagoon a collapsed calderon filled with beautiful tourquoise sulpher water. Water activities await at the bottom such as kayaking......BUT,,,,,,a trail leeds down with an estimated arrival of 1 hour.....however the return estimate is 2 hours....you can hire a mule for $30.00. The tour books say this is the highlight attraction in Ecuador.

The calderon is 2 miles wide.....hopefully stays dorment while we are there.......
